At Riverton Christian Church, we want to help people experience the awe of God’s glory and the love of Jesus through the teaching of His word, fellowship, the breaking of bread and prayer.

Our Vision

“In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.” (Genesis 5:1.)
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all could live just like that? Live life eternally and perfect in every way with one perfect father, one perfect brotherhood, one perfect sisterhood, and one perfect family?

We could be that family, but for one detail. We fell from favor when we disobeyed our Father and Creator as explained in the third chapter of Genesis. God requires sacrifice as payment for the consequences of our weakness. Without it we are condemned.

There is GOOD NEWS:

“those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent. (Acts 13:26)

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8) All believers “should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel”. (Ephesians 3:6)

By definition, children of God are joint heirs and that makes us all one family. At Riverton we earnestly strive to live life in our homes, in our church and in our community as family. And we live today!
